MYTH BUSTERS SCIENCE
Mondays: September 19 – November 7, 2011
12:15 pm – 1:00 pm (during lunch)
Open to K – 5th graders
Cost: $80 + $10 materials fee
Myth Busters Science lets kids determine for themselves the truth behind several well-known urban legends. Incorporating the fun, upbeat and exploratory personality of the TV show, the class will follow a trial-and-error, hands-on format, allowing kids to bust myths related to everything from aviation and air pressure to water and simple machines.
CHESS CLUB
Tuesdays: September 20 – November 8, 2011

Open to K – 5th graders
Cost: $80
We introduce chess to students in a fun and exciting way! For all students and all levels, we teach students to play chess and help them succeed in school by stimulating their problem solving skills, analytical skills, and critical thinking. Win certificates, medals and trophies!
LEGO ROBOTICS
Thursdays, October 6 - November 17, 2011

Open to K – 5th graders
Cost: $70
Challenge aspects of your creativity and intellect while learning the basics of engineering and physics! Students are given new and different projects every week to build, test and modify as they graduate to the next level of engineering comprehension. This class is as fun as it is inventive! No class on 9/29/11.
