Fifth Grade Activities & Fundraising Information
The Fifth Grade parents, in cooperation with the school and PTA, run a variety of fundraising programs throughout the school year. Funds are used for special events to celebrate the students last year of elementary school, including an end of year party, field trip, and a class gift to the school. Check this page for event, fundraising and contact information. If you have questions about a 5th grade event, please e-mail the 5th grade mailbox at 5thgrade@jsspta.com |

5th Grade Recycling Collection outside Room 10 on Friday mornings
The fifth grade is collecting plastic bottles, jugs and aluminum cans (no glass) outside of Room 10 on Friday mornings. Please save your recycling throughout the week and donate it to the 5th Grade. All money will be used for the 5th grade graduation and end of year trip.
Please crush your cans to make it easier for the volunteers! |

Fall Festival Media Booth Donations Needed
Save your lightly used books, CD's, DVD's, VHS tapes, and old video game cartridges and disks to donate to the 5th grade Media Booth. The 5th grade sells donated items at the Fall Festival to raise funds for 5th grade programs. Donation drop off location will be posted soon. |
Grams
Grams are sold for several occasions including Halloween (Boo grams), before Winter Break (Winter Wishes), Valentine's Day (Val-O-Grams) and at the end of the school year (Summer Send Offs). A gram is a piece of candy with a personalized message from you to the student or faculty or school volunteer. It's a great way to send a message, and only costs 50 cents. Look for Gram sale announcement dates.
5th Grade parent volunteers are always needed to sell grams before and after school at the gates and in the Parent Center, and to assemble, sort and deliver grams. Please volunteer! |
